Our little ones enjoy a happy, interactive environment where they are prepared for Grade R in a safe, structured and caring way all the time learning the social skills they will need in the coming years.  

 


Mrs Karen Daniels

Mrs Karen Daniels, Grades R & 1 teacher, HOD Foundation Phase

Over 30 years' teaching experience in several schools in the Western and Eastern Cape and the North-West Province has made Mrs Daniels an indispensable addition to the staff since her arrival in January 2013. She also enriched the school with her vast knowledge of choir and music performance skills. 

Mrs Jeanne Theron, Grades 2 and 3 teacher, HOD Sport

Life is never dull in “Mrs T’s” class. Along with her deep understanding of children, Mrs T ensures that learning is dynamic and exciting. Many important social skills are also emphasized in this class.

 

 

Mrs Adrienne Rogers – Grade 4/5 Class Teacher

Mrs Rogers is a teacher with over 40 years of experience behind her. She has taught at many prestigious schools around South Africa and joined the staff full time in 2016. Her philosophy, which she is passionate about is, “every child counts”. She believes that children must be appreciated and praised for what they do and she tries to ensure that in her class every day. Mrs Rogers instills a love for learning into her students through fun, hard work and constant affirmation.

 


Mrs Sally HarrisMrs Sally Harris, School Secretary

Mrs Harris is the first person to receive and warmly welcome all visitors to the school. She is a fount of information; everyone turns to her for advice and to answer all their questions.




Mrs Hilary du Toit, Bursar & Computer Science teacher

An integral part of the hub of Greyton House, makes the wheels turn smoothly. Hilary ensures the efficient running of the school finances.


 

 

 

This backbone of full-time staff is supported and assisted by part-time teachers who help with computer literacy, class music, academic support, drama and enrichment subjects, as well as a supportive group of parents and village volunteers who help with clubs, camps, fundraising and the many activities that make up the tapestry of Greyton House.
